Clerk Bio

County Clerk Karen Madison was first elected in 2004. She has been re-elected in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020.

Karen has a B.S. in Business with a major in Accounting from Emporia State University and has earned Master County Clerk status in Kansas. She is active in the Kansas County Clerks & Election Officials Association, serving as President 2018-2019. She has three children, Ryne, Jayde and Jarrett.
