Administration
The Cowley County Administration Department shall serve as the chief administrative officer of Cowley County at the direction of the Board of County Commissioners and shall be responsible for the effective administration of all governmental affairs of Cowley County which shall be placed under their charge by the County Commission.
The Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners, and is responsible for implementation of their goals.
DUTIES
Specific Duties include:
- Budget preparation
- Coordination of County operations with other local governments and agencies
- Development of proposals to improve County operations
- Public Information and media requests
- Human Resources
- Accounts payable
- Employee payroll
- Employee records
- County Commission meeting agenda preparation
